Our Story

I started The Cleaner Soul after an unexpected breast cancer diagnosis. I was a health-conscious personal trainer and a positive lifestyle advocate and never thought this would happen to me. I knew I was eating well and keeping healthy, so I started to reevaluate what products I was surrounding myself with that could disrupt my health. 

Perfumes were the first products I eliminated once I understood what synthetic fragrances actually contained. That sent me looking into the fragrances in everything else in my home—especially my household cleaners. What I found surprised me: labels that promised safety without ever explaining what was inside. I realized you deserve to know exactly what's in the products you trust with your family and your home. 

I could no longer trust any of these products; even the ones labeled safe and natural were misleading. So I started making my own in my kitchen with food-grade ingredients. After I finalized a formula I liked, I called upon a formulator friend to tweak the ingredients to the point that they were more effective and proven to clean well with the correct pH—today, that formula carries eight independent certifications, including skin-contact safe, food-contact safe, and baby and pet safe. I also wanted to add essential oils, so while you clean you get the aromatherapy benefits they're known to support. It was important for me to create one cleaning solution that you can use safely and effectively in every room, on every surface.

Seven years ago, The Cleaner Soul began as my personal mission to create a trustworthy, truly non-toxic cleaning brand. Now, I’m excited to announce the next chapter: Guy Chanin, a talented business leader with a proven track record in building brands and creating meaningful products, has joined The Cleaner Soul as my partner. With Guy’s expertise and our shared vision, we’re ready to take The Cleaner Soul to new heights, staying true to our commitment to clean, sustainable, and soul-nurturing products.
